Dreamy Shepherd Hut

Me and my partner stayed here for two nights in one of the Shephard huts to attend a wedding at the nearby castle. We just wished we could have stayed longer. The huts are well kitted out for all year round stay. They are clean and very well thought out. It was such a pleasant and magical experience. The hosts was amazing. They work very hard to make your stay very welcome. There are showers and toilets with heaters. There is a lounge and kitchen facilities so if your not into BBQ ing food, you can nip to a shop and Make a three course meal. There is also a fridge so you can buy anything you want. Around the area there are fantastic walks that leads to the most stunning views. On the site, there are chickens and cocks, who are also very friendly and will enjoy your food, if you wish to share. Great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of a city. All we can say is that we cannot wait to go back. Dont be hesitant at all, this place will make you feel you have some t time with nature. The local dog, pepper is also a little darling.

Upgrade on shows/ toilet block is fantastic. Lots more room, a bigger shower plate and a changing area. New kitchen fantastic, two sinks and two cookers.

Amazing!!! One of the best places I've ever had the pleasure of staying! Would recommend you try this out if you like glamping! They have everything you could need, they have a wash block comprising of two separate rooms. Each with its own shower, sink with mirror and toilet, next door is a separate toilet with sink and mirror. Outside this is a sink/washing area for any plates or cutlery. Just across from the wash block is a kitchen/dining area with some cooking appliances and a cosy feeling area to eat. Not too far from these is a wood fired outdoor hot tub! In our glamping hut we had a large bed (possibly a double) and a chest of drawers and radio and kettle, a table and chairs inside, little things like tea and coffee making facilities and some biscuits! The bed was nicely made and had extra blankets neatly folded on the end in case we got cold. Just outside the door on the decking was another table and chairs and a sun lounger and wood burning fire! Wood supplied at £5 a bag and lasts well over 3 hours constant use! Dale the owner is an amazing guy and lovely to chat to! Gave us great local info about locations nearby to look at (Knills monument) and where to get the best local food! It was a wonderful time and I'd like to go again!!!

Dreamy! We brought our whippet puppy who loved the wild field to dash around in. The hut is really cozy. The electric heater on a timer was lush and generally was lovely in the hut even with the wind and rain lashing outside! St Ives was really busy so was great to be up and away in the quiet hills above.

Perfect for my 5 year old and I, was a very reasonable alternative to a £300 a night hotel room! Didn't expect loos so close to the hobbit house we stayed in, great with a kid, plus a gas burner in its own little shed for easy cuppa in the morning. Would be a great perk if staying for longer as I'm not great on a campfire when I'm cooking. Also really appreciated the wheelbarrows provided to cart goods from the car to the accomodation. All really clean (if rustic), and very attractive with own BBQ and seating outside plus stunning views too.

Absolutely stunning location! The best facilities ever & the Shepherds hut was beautifully decorated, cosy, really comfy & surprisingly spacious! Dale & Kat have thought of everything, with tea/coffee/water etc in the hut to a bistro set, log burner & fire pit just outside each hut & there is even a hot tub!! This is by far the best camping/glamping spot we have ever stayed in & cant wait to come back again!

This place was really cool. It had a great community vibe. The common kitchen and the tiny houses are a great way to be alone or have a cup of tea with new people. The tiny houses have surprisingly large beds so two people and a baby fit very comfortably. Our dog loved it. Being able to stand out in a field and have a morning cup of coffee was such a nice feeling. The location is great, you have amazing views of the sea from the hill top, and you are a short walk to the town. The walk is very nice and follows a lane with few cars. We arrived after dark, I would recommend having a headlamp if you do this since it can be hard to see the names on the cabins.

Beautiful, thoughtful and well kept place with welcoming hosts. The Shepherds hut I stayed in came with everything you could need, including tea and coffee! The wood fired hot tub was lovely as an added extra!
